Marriott Hotel Manila Opens Manila Life Café at NAIA Terminal 3
17 October 2017. Manila Life Café of Marriott Hotel Manila opens at the 4/F of NAIA Terminal 3. You may access the café from Marriott Manila through the Runway Manila, the elevated walkway or pedestrian crosswalk that connects Newport City to NAIA Terminal 3. If you are a passenger, you can talk the escalators/elevators to the 4/F Food Hall. If not a passenger, you can still go up entering Gate 6.
Manila Life Café, by its name, showcases the good food and good sights of Manila. I just have to say that the food was more sumptuous than the usual Filipino fare with a twist.
I especially love their soft tacos, which you can choose from pork sisig, crisp fish, and chicken inasal. With the spices and seasonings, they have just the right tanginess, saltiness, sweetness that played havoc to my palette.
I also enjoyed the Manila Street Food Platter, Grilled Chicken Inasal Salad, Pancit Luglug, and Pork Adobo with its tenderest meat!
They also offer burgers, beers and other popular Filipino dishes.
They also offer an interesting breakfast fare, the TAPDELOG, tapa and egg pandesal sandwich.
Another highlight is the It Takes Gutz Bam-i inspired by the recipe of beauty queen and actress Ruffa Gutierrez from her hometown in Cebu. It is a noodle dish packed with chicken strips, sliced pork, shrimp, Chinese chorizo, wood ear mushroom and vegetables. It is a mouthful indeed!
Their desserts are perfectly unique and to die for—not too sweet yet delish! Take note: the purple yam roll is Good Shephered ube with cream cheese filling and macapuno strings; the mango sago is Guimaras mango cubes with milky mango puree, tapioca pearls and pomelo bits.
Manila Life Café also serves local beer and craft beer. Interesting craft beer are those from Crazy Carabao Brewing Co. The men in our company had these three flavors, and they swear to their goodness!
The interiors of Manila Life Café is very cozy, perfect for both weary and excited travelers. Take a look.
Manila Life Café has beautiful murals that depict Manila sights and sounds. Just a little trivia, that mural background of the reception desk is by an Iliganon kababayan, Rommel Bundalian. You may check out his portfolio here.
Manila Life Café inner room or private guest lounge, if you want some more privacy. Take note of the backdrop, the famous Manila jeepney.
Travelers can also shop for souvenirs!
Manila Life Café is open from 7:00am to 8:00pm.
I would definitely come by here when I fly somewhere soon!
