Treasure and Tradition at Man Ho Manila
Marriott Manila celebrates the biggest festival in the Chinese Lunar calendar, the Year of the Fire Rooster, with treasure and tradition in a box: three traditional delicacies: Tikoy (Nian Gao), Radish Cake (Lo Bak Go), and Taro Cake (Wu Tao Gao).
Executive Chinese Law Wui Wing prepare them in the most flavorful and authentic way. The round-shaped 750-gram Tikoy, with a classic sweet taste symbolizes the Chinese culture to mean “higher year.” It will attract wealth and luck throughout the year. Likewise, the 500-gram radish and taro cake slices, made using prime ingredients from Hong Kong, signify good fortune and prosperity. The elegant red oriental box—whether shared or enjoyed by the family alone at the center of your New Year celebration—symbolizes an abundance of luck and prosperity. This box is only Php 1,388 at Marriott Café Bakery, Crema, and the newly-opened Man Ho Chinese restaurant.

The Year of the Fire Rooster is looking very auspicious at Marriott Manila and the best way to start it is through a ceremonial dragon and lion dance on January 29 at 5pm. Join the celebration to attract good spirits and push negative energies away!
